Where it fits
Lantern pendants and cage fixtures put the bulb in plain view. A T6 keeps the look of an old tubular filament bulb and uses 4 watts. The light is a warm 2700K and shines all round. The slim tube clears glass cylinders that a globe or a candle shape would touch.

Pick another one if
It has an E12 base, so it will not fit a standard lamp socket. For that, the T10 is the same idea on an E26 base and twice as long. A clear bulb also shows as a bright line of light. Behind frosted glass that is fine. In an open fixture at eye level, dim it or expect some glare.

So nice!! Worked great!
These 7.3-inch T10 light bulbs are perfect for vanity lights! They fit exactly as expected and look fantastic once installed. The size and style give the vanity a clean, polished appearance, and they provide great lighting without being overly harsh. They were easy to install and really helped complete the look of the bathroom. I'm very happy with the quality and how they look, especially for the price. Excellent replacement bulbs!
I have my mom's 60 yr old 20" tall ceramic Christmas tree, and have not used it for many years because of how hot the bulbs always got. But this year, we changed out the electrical parts so it could take standard light bulbs, and I bought these bulbs to replace the old tubes she used.These bulbs stay nice and cool, but generate more light than the old bulbs - making the tree brighter than ever!
Why must I buy two?
It would have been better if I could have bought just one.That said, the bulb is perfect in our piano light.

T6 is the short one, 3.39 in long on an E12 base. T10 is 7.3 in long on a standard E26 base. Check your socket first.
Does it work in a ceiling fan?
The maker lists ceiling fans, chandeliers and pendants. The fan's light kit must have E12 sockets.
How warm is the light?
