Where it fits
Ceiling fan light kits, bath bars and floor torchieres often hide an E11 socket behind frosted glass. The bulb is 0.62 in wide and 2.12 in long, and it screws in like a tiny household bulb. At 75 watts it gives about twice the light of our brightest candelabra LED. It dims from 10 to 100 percent.

Pick another one if
E11 and E12 are one millimeter apart, and they do not swap. An E12 bulb wobbles in an E11 socket. An E11 bulb will not start in an E12. Measure the old base or read its markings. A 100 watt capsule runs hot, so use it only where the fixture names 100W.

Good value
The 34 reviews averaging 4.4 stars influenced my purchase. The only negative review is the fault of the person making the review. It clearly says 4 bulbs but the photo shows I enlarged for detail and then the 4 bulbs. NOTE these are "Mini Candelabra Base" and NOT regular candelabra base bulbs. They are supper bright and pleasant warm white lights equivalent to 75 watt bulb that are dimmable. $12 for 4 bulbs is a reasonable price for these quality bulbs. I got them because of the power for such small bulbs, the warm light rather than harsh "daylight" bulbs and fact that they were dimmable. So read the description carefully and make sure these are what you need and not what you assume they are. They are NOT LED lights and will put off some heat at 74 watts. I recommend these if they meet your specific needs.
Good Lamps / bulbs
I purchased these to replace some LED lamps that I bought to replace the original quartz halogen lamps in a fixture. The LED lamps became quite dim over the span of only a couple of years. Something most don't realize is that LED lamps do grow dimmer over time, there is a rating for the percent of luminance after a period of usually 5 years, the old LED's wound up much dimmer in a much shorter time span. These Quartz Halogen lamps have been in use for a while now and are still very bright. All lamps dim over time, some more than others.

Is E11 the same as E12?
No. E11 is 11 mm across and E12 is 12 mm. The threads differ, and the bulbs do not fit each other's sockets.
What does JD mean?
JD marks a single-ended halogen capsule for line voltage. JD E11 is that capsule on an E11 screw base.
Can I use 100W in my ceiling fan?
Only if the fan's light kit allows 100W per socket. Many are limited to less, so read the label first.
