Where it fits
Low-voltage cabinet lights often hold a row of G4 capsules behind a strip of glass. Each one is small, and a 10 watt bulb is the common size. You pull the old capsule straight out and press the new one in. The light is the warm white of halogen and comes on at once. Twenty in a pack suits a display case or a long run under cabinets.

- The fixture or its transformer is marked 12V.
- The old bulb has two fine pins 4 mm apart.
- The fixture is rated for 10W or more per socket.

Pick another one if
Be sure of the voltage. This bulb is for 12 volts and needs a transformer. On 120 volts it fails in an instant. The pins are thin and bend if you force them. If your fixture names 20 watts, a 10 watt bulb works but gives half the light.

"Reliable G4 Halogen Bulbs for Various Uses"
I purchased these G4 halogen bulbs for my project, and they've been great so far. The 10-pack is a good value, and the bulbs are bright and provide consistent light. The 12V, 10W rating is perfect for my needs, and installation was straightforward. I've used a few already with no issues, and I'm happy with the overall performance. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that they do run a bit hotter than expected, but that's typical with halogen bulbs. Still, I would definitely recommend them!

Direct replacement for my RV ceiling puck lights. Would prefer to transfer over to LED bulbs but haven't been able to locate ones that are this small.So if you have puck lights that have halogen bulbs, these might be exactly what you need.

Can I use a G4 on 120V?
No. It is a 12V bulb and needs a transformer. On 120V it burns out at once.
Does it work on AC and DC?
The maker lists it for 12V AC or DC, which covers most cabinet lighting transformers.
What is the difference between the two packs?
Only the count. Both hold the same 10W bulb, ten or twenty to a pack.
